Holiday Rules: Jingle All the Way

More evidence of why unchecked parental authority may be a bad idea..

In my defense she did seem to think it was funny. As much as a 19 month old thinks anything is funny..

Yellow

Flowers from our staff. For Boss Day. (Hilarious to me; I'm someone's boss.) They were sitting on the cabinet in our office, over by the door. Where they looked sort of sad and tight. I had an early meeting today and when I came back from the conference room someone had moved the flowers to a corner of my desk. Right behind my computer so they are a profusion of colour at the top corner of my screen. That's a good place for them where they can get some sun and bloom out a little. Then when I came back from crisis management out on the floor the sun was streaming in the window and the flowers we lit up. Happy. They're bright yellow. And the sun was hitting them and they were glowing. Happy. Gorgeous. And there are some purple ones in there too. It was amazing. Happy. Gorgeous. Glorious. And I sat and looked at them and thought - all is well with the world (even though it may not be). Happy. Gorgeous. Glorious. And you want to hold your breath so the sun doesn't go away and the moment doesn't change. Happy. Gorgeous. Glorious. Exquisite.

Alfredo with Angel Hair

I am eating lunch and still fighting yesterday's migrane.

That's what one of our participants said when they got off the van today, and indeed I hope it will be.
My roommate is getting married in 39 days.
I am going to wash my car tomorrow.
I am wearing a sweater. I love fall weather.

Nauseated vs nauseous

I got sick last night so I didn't post. I don't believe I will ever eat at Applebees again. 2 strike rule. Maybe just dessert.....
Today I am doing a survey. My job is pretty cool. I'm loving it.
I love Fridays. Especially when it doesn't really feel like I have worked this week, that's how fun my job is.

School Day

I was over at the DC site today for more training. Yesterday I had to write my first incident report. Tomorrow is back at my program. Lots of variety. The internet has only just started to work, now that I'm in bed of course. Typical.

Migrane

No idea what that's all about. It surely kills any productivity though when all you can do is lie still in the dark.

Fail

I missed a day. Sad times. There goes that goal. I will continue on though. I'm starting to like seeing what I've done - online journaling sort of. 

Today I went over to St. Coletta's new site for orientation. Good times. Now I am tired and thinking about taking a nap before FHE.
